Leading the Robotics Revolution at SAS

Shanghai American School is leading the charge to establish VEX Robotics as an official APAC event. After the success of last year’s inaugural APAC Trial competition on the Puxi campus, the spotlight shifted to our Pudong campus just a few weeks ago. The campus buzzed with energy as we welcomed over 200 aspiring robotics engineers from 12 schools across Asia for the second APAC Trial VEX Robotics. Over two action-packed days, students showcased their ingenuity, precision, and collaboration through a series of high-stakes challenges.

At SAS, robotics is more than just competitions. It’s a way for students to explore their passion for STEM, develop leadership skills, and grow into collaborative problem-solvers. With robotics programs spanning from elementary to high school, exceptional facilities, dedicated mentors, and a community driven by innovation, SAS is shaping the future of STEM.
