Whether our students are at SAS for one year or twelve, their time here is spent on a well-mapped journey of academic excellence. This journey is built on the foundation of our Mission, as well as our 7 Learning Principles which are tailored to each grade and development stage.
Early Childhood Education
In Pre-K3 and Pre-K4, we start the journey of nurturing the seeds of curiosity and discovery, much like tending to a blossoming garden of young minds.
Elementary School
From Kindergarten to Grade 5, we cultivate young minds not only in academic prowess, but foster a love for lifelong inquiry, crafting a rich educational experience.
Middle School
Our middle school teachers and counselors are experts in adolescents and know exactly what makes their brains tick. We support our Grade 6-8 students through their transition to young adulthood. SAS has a nurturing environment that helps young learners mature with confidence and resilience.
High School
Grades 9 to 12 is where academic rigor, personal growth and cultural immersion harmoniously prepare students for the boundless possibilities awaiting them in college and beyond.
Counseling
Growing up is no easy task, which is exactly why you’ll find a counseling team devoted to understanding and caring for your child at every age. This community is designed with great intentionality, because a counseling program, at its heart, must know and reflect student needs as they change through the years. Our two-part approach engages an experienced team devoted to School Counseling in each division, PreK-12, nurturing and scaffolding all stages of social-emotional development and learning. You’ll also find that taking the long view toward life beyond SAS presents a host of different needs. Thus, a professional College Counselor is added for each student during high school, in order to apply the time and expertise necessary to help your child succeed in their next chapter.
