Our spaces
Every space at SAS has been designed intentionally to enhance learning and support our students. We believe that when a space is designed and used well, it actually becomes another instructor. At SAS, you will find students writing on moveable walls in their interdisciplinary courses and that their chairs and tables have wheels on them to support collaboration. You will find sophisticated Performing Arts Centers, and construction projects underway by students of every age in our fully equipped maker spaces and design studios. Suffice to say, some spaces help us go far beyond our expectations.
Libraries of SAS
The four inspiring spaces that comprise the Libraries of SAS feature a current, diverse collection of books in English. In addition, there is a sizeable selection of Chinese titles in each library. Our collections are available for students, parents and teachers.
In our libraries, students engage with stories through more than just books. Stories can be found in a variety of formats and platforms, whether through print, eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines, or memorable experiences with bestselling authors. Patrons will also find caring, knowledgeable staff who provide academic support and inspire a love of reading. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed and foster discovery, creativity, and collaboration.
