Ready to pirouette into something extraordinary? Welcome to the dance program at Shanghai American School Pudong. We pride ourselves not just on our diverse selection of dance classes, but also on being the only school to offer IB dance in Shanghai.
This year, we turned APAC into a global dance tour. In order for our students and visiting dance teams to experience an even higher level of dance education, we brought in world artists focusing on contemporary, hip-hop, Chinese, and jazz dance. These artists gave workshops for students throughout APAC, learning new skills and techniques they could directly implement in their final dance performance. Imagine learning contemporary dance from a former Paris Opera Ballet dancer. Sounds too good to be true? Well, buckle your dance shoes, because it happened right here, at SAS Pudong.
