Overview of Transportation Services at SAS

SAS contracts with an independent bus company to provide bus transportation for SAS students. Modern, air-conditioned buses, many of them equipped with speed tracking and GPS tracking system. More than 100 buses provide transportation each day for approximately 2500 students. While the length of current bus routes for most students is less than 70 minutes, students living in more distant areas are experiencing longer travel times.
 
Activity buses are available for students in grades one and above who participate in after-school activities. The activity buses provide service to several pre-determined drop-off locations. Please check with each campus’ respective Bus Office/Activity Dept for more details.

Each family must complete and sign a Transportation Packet and return to the appopriate campus contact as indicated on the form. The packet includes application form, waiver and bus rules.

G-School Parent Portal

The G-School Parent Portal (https://shas.yeaptech.com/OSSPShASSec) holds your family information such as home address, telephone numbers, child’s particulars, etc.  Kindly review these data by July 18, 2008 and advise us via email (Puxi - YEAPPX@saschina.org / Pudong – YEAPPD@saschina.org) with any changes to your family data.

Bus Assignments 

You may look up your child(ren)’s 2008-09 school year assigned bus numbers and the bus operators contact information on our G-School Parent Portal via the internet: https://shas.yeaptech.com/OSSPShASSec, from Thursday 14th August 2008. If there are any last-minute changes made to bus assignments from Friday, August 15, 2008, we will contact you to provide the latest information. Office Hours

During the summer holiday, our office will be closed between June 16, 2008 and July 14, 2008. Operating hours after July 14th are between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays until school starts on the August 21, 2008.
